Application of Improved Differential Evolution Algorithm in Solving Equations

Abstract The problem of finding roots equations has always been an important research in the fields scientific and engineering calculations. For standard differential evolution algorithm cannot balance convergence speed accuracy solution, improved is proposed. First, one-half rule introduced mutation process, that is, half individuals perform evolutionary mutation, other strategy reorganization, which increases diversity population avoids premature algorithm; Second, set up adaptive operator a crossover to prevent from falling into local optimum improve solution. Finally, classical high-order algebraic nonlinear are selected for testing, compared with algorithms. results show higher solution robustness, faster speed.
